A fun start to a new series! I like the premise of how magic works in the world and how their history is directly tied to current power structures and classism. And while we haven't gotten a lot from the other students yet, they have distinct personalities and I'm very interested to see where it goes in future volumes.

The illustration in this series is amazing. The page layouts, the lore pages, Tetia’s hair, the witch outfits… everything is gorgeous.
I enjoyed the pace of the world-building and learning it alongside Coco.
Coco is adorable and always tries her best.
