A really good book. Love how Cheyenne and Griffin are still able to be friends after what happened. I would love to see more by this author.

Girl, Stolen by April Henry was fast paced and interesting, creating a story surrounding the kidnapping of a girl who also happens to be blind. Which I appreciate the effort Henry put into this story, the relationship between our main characters felt a little uncomfortable. There were a lot of traumatic moments that felt weightless and erratic due to the pacing of this story, and it led to things feeling disjointed. Moments that should have been heavy, ended up being said in passing, and I think this could have been avoided with a few extra pages.  I liked the concept more than I enjoyed the execution, and though the story was tense, I found the friendship leaned a bit more romantic than I would have liked given the circumstances. It had a bit of a savior complex about it, and even though I do believe characters can have redeeming qualities, this felt like a stretch. Overall, a quick read, but definitely some heavy and hard moments to read.

had this book sitting on my shelf for years, and i finally picked it up today and gave it a read. it a very quick read for me. interesting, however i couldn’t seem to really get into the story like i wanted to. i believe this book has potential and can be a great read for others, however it just wasn’t for me. for one, the book is in third person, which is fine. but i struggle to really get into books that are in third person, i don’t know. it was good don’t get me wrong, just wasn’t for me.
