After hating Garth on the previous books I was hesitant about this one...Oh boy was I wrong or what!! Fun and sexy! This is the perfect beach/summer/share with the girlfriends kind of book! I'm sold on Susan's Mallery! Can't wait to read more from here.

I love that the sisters rallied around Garth and really got to know him, how Diana choose to help and how he feels for her. It was swoony and sweet.

Jed though he surprised me to no end, how calculating he was and ruthless to his own detriment! Like why!? Was it worth it?

What ended up breaking him didn’t surprise me he thought he was invincible and that everything is always fixable but it wasn’t and it was in his power to help and he didn’t I hope he feels guilty.

Diana and Garth together made sense and I loved how this book unfolded. <3 Great way to end this series that is for sure.

Enjoyed the narration for sure.

Dana and Garth's book. Dana doesn't agree with Izzy's plan, but agrees to watch him hoping to catch him out.

This was a nice wrap-up to the series. I thought it was interesting how Dana and Garth happened. I mean it just happened. There wasn't much build-up and I think neither one saw it coming, but it worked. I loved how Dana wouldn't just bend to Garth's will and that he sort of respected her for that. And I loved that she didn't want to take anything from Garth. Many women wouldn't think twice if Garth wanted to give them stock or take them on a shopping spree, but she really didn't care about the money.

Jed was his typical asshat self. Between trying to scare Dana off his trail, trying to win at Garth's game, trying to make Dana feel inconsequential, everything he did to his daughters, he got what was coming to him. It was almost sad when Garth won. Not because I wanted Jed to beat Garth, but because really nobody won. Sure, Jed was ruined, but it would never bring back Jenny as she was. I still can't believe Jed thought Garth's request for money for his mom was just a ploy. Couldn't he have even looked into the claims? I mean it took him 20 years to figure out Garth hadn't been lying. Then again, maybe it was for the best (except for Jenny)... without Garth looking into Jed's activities, maybe a lot of what Jed had been doing wouldn't have come to light. Jed was really not a good guy.

It was good to see all of the sisters and Dana somewhat settled at the end. And I loved that while Garth had been able to wrestle everything away from Jed, he could really care less about the assets themselves, and he was gracious enough to divvy them up amongst himself and his sisters. And I loved what the sisters did with everything. Sure, they might have been raised in the lap of luxury and they could have easily just indulged and lived that way forever. But they each had aspirations beyond just existing, and many of them were altruistic aspirations. Granted, Izzy had to grow into hers, but it still became very important for her to give back.

I didn't love the first three books. I have to say that I was waiting for Dana'a book. I was not disappointed. Really enjoyed this one.

This was the 4th book of the Titan sisters series. I am glad that they did a book about Garth and Dana but it was my least favorite of the whole series. Garth goes from being a "bad" guy to being a "good" guy in 2 pages and near the beginning of the book. Its a hard switch since he has been "bad" for the last 3 books. I'm looking forward to Mallery's new series coming out my May with Faking Perfect.

The Titan sisters, Dana Birch, included, are funny, smart and keep a smile on my face. Sad to see the series end.

I have been loving this Lone Star Sisters series. Yes, I am reading them all out of order, but I just couldn't wait for the second book to come in at the library before reading this one.

Hot on Her Heels is the story of Dana and Garth. I was really excited for this one. I just knew they would be amazing together. They are both really strong characters. They both like being in charge and Dana especially doesn't like to be vulnerable.

When the story opens Dana does not like Garth at all, only she is drawn to him. He has been after her bff's, the Titan sisters, and she does not like that at all. She doesn't trust him, doesn't really believe that he didn't cause the explosion on the oil rig that hurt Izzy. She is determined to bring Garth down, to arrest him and get him for all the harm he has done.

When the Titan sisters decide that they are going to bring Garth into the fold, going to kill him with kindness and make him a part of the family, they need Dana's help. They want to make sure that he is a good person deep down and not really horrible. They recruit Dana to follow him and see what he is really like. Oh it was fun. Garth is always knocking Dana off her stable footing, doing things that he shouldn't be doing. Inviting her in for dinner, being nice, not minding that she is following him...Dana doesn't know what to think of all of it. For his part Garth is a bit unsure what to do with the Titan sisters as he has never really had that family dynamic. He has never had siblings who care about him so when they just start showing up and being nice to him he is unsure of himself. It is nice, but can he trust it?

The more time Dana and Garth spend together the more things heat up. They both are just great characters. They were just amazing together. I loved this story. I loved how things slowly heated up, how the feelings slowly started to creep in. How they all worked together to take down the bad guy. How this story wraps everything up with the continuous storyline. It was just a really great, fun read. A perfect end to an amazing series.

I noticed this one at the library and since I was looking for a contemporary romance, I thought Mallery would be a good choice. I now only have the second volume in the series to read.

As always, Mallery wrote a fun fairy tale which kept me amused and delighted.
