an actual genius. reading her words feels like you're living inside her mind, and it is a sanctuary. you can tell how much research goes into her work and consuming her poetry is brilliant because of it.

Another beautiful piece by Anne Carson! The first piece in this collection, “The Glass Essay” is insightful and poignant. She mixes verse with beautiful metaphors and breathtaking control of the narrative.
