The mission is finally coming to its end in the conclusion of the New York Times hit The Gallagher Girls series, United We Spy. It's senior year, and Cammie is still trying to get back in motion after experiencing memory loss last summer at the hands of the Circle of Cavan, an organization who is bent on gaining power over the world. While her friends, classmates, and fellow operatives prepare for their future, Cammie only has one plan for hers: live to see graduation. But that becomes difficult when the Circle begins to initiate their final plans on bringing the planet to its knees, and Cammie and her friends become fugitives, trying to capture the remaining Circle leaders. They're put to the final test, having to use everything the Gallagher Academy taught them in order to save the world. Failure is not an option. No pressure, right?
Ally Carter has grown her characters with each book, having them start out using their spy skills in order to learn about Cammie's first boyfriend, to now having to go up against international terrorists, situations have elevated substantially as their training has intensified. Carter has now left her characters in a place where it is evident that they are prepared to face bigger oppositions in the field.
Though the last few books have grown rather serious compared to the original book (I mean come on, what happened to Evapopaper?), Carter's wit and perfectly timed humor are still present. What Carter was also wise to include, is showing how the young spies perform outside the ivy covered walls of the Gallagher Academy, and making apparent that things don't always go according to plan.
Perhaps the only thing that would've made this book even better (which would be difficult since it's already pretty great) would have been to include some things or some characters from the original book to bring the entire series full circle. Still, the book is great without them.
United We Spy is a fantastic book to finish off this beloved series, showing that even when school is over, once a Gallagher Girl, always a Gallagher Girl.

It was a good conclusion; but looking back, I never quite realized that the writing wasn't that great. Some of the plot points came out of nowhere, and Cammie is way too obsessed with boys. Yet, I like the series, and it's still probably going to be one of my favorites.
okay so im not going to lie here but about halfway i was pretty bored. dont get me wrong these books are totally adorable but i started reading the first book about 6 years ago when i was in yr 7. id kept reading them for years and stayed strong but after the 4th one i was busy with school and didnt bother with them so much.
but i bought the 5th and 6th and only read the second last a few months ago and the last one now. out of sight, out of time bored me and it just wasnt the same.
i only read this last book out of respect for the author and series because ive been reading them for so long. i think ive just out grown the writing and it just didnt hold the same spark it had long ago.
but still by the end im always smiling because it is always so sweet :)

Never ever have I read a series like this one.
The books are relatively short but they tell such good stories every single time. The characters are wonderful and it's so cool that there's all sorts of badass girls in it. Liz, the genius, is as much of a badass as Bex, the warrior princess.
I love everything about this book, how it got so much action and such a good ending and plot twists thrown in your face.
I cried. I CRIED when it was over. I'm so sad I'll never read Zach saying "Hey, Gallagher Girl" ever again. Guys with tragic backstories and a horrible parent are my weakness.
This review has been all over the place just like me right now.

this is a series I started following when I was in middle school now I'm about to graduate and all I can say about this book is that it really tired the whole series together I mean I wish I could have been a little bit longer and gone more into detail with the whole situation with Zach Catherine townshed Abby and also with what happened between Joe Solomon and cammies mom. another thing I would like to have seen more of is the relationship that Zach and Cammie have
Carter has made the conclusion as expected with lots of action and MAJOR reveals and a great ending.

Ok so this review is very late but just to give my overall experience with the book:
I REALLY loved this book. I've enjoyed the whole series through and through. I've become attached to the characters and the world of the Gallagher Girl and was really sad to see the series end but still happy to have closure. I'd definitely recommend it to any of my friends.
