United We Spy was an amazing finale to one of my favorite series. While it starts out slow, the end beat out any bad feelings and ended strong.
Ally Carter is one of my all time favorite authors. She has a perfect way of writing action that doesn't leave the reader wondering which character just got shot, or shot someone. While I didn't think the action was as fast and unexpected as the other books, United We Spy's climax was something I was never expecting.
I enjoyed all the relationship dynamics in this book. There wasn't much angst, which was a nice break from every other book I read. Carter knew that the time for tension was over, and thank god for that. All the characters had developed a lot from the beginning of the series, no one more than Cammie.
United We Spy ended with me in tears. I can't wait to read Carter's new series: Embassy Row.

So good. I don't give any rating over a four lightly but omg, I've only read this book and book three of this series but I need to read the whole entire series insanely good
Seriously awesome. I absolutely loved this book, I liked how the author tied off the end of the saga, but not really Cammie's story. She's graduated high school and closed off that chapter, and now she's off in the real world. I think it would make for a brilliant second series, you can't really go wrong with thriller/spy books and this is the first young adult series that I've read that is in this genre. I've been reading this series since high school and now 5 years later it's finally come to an end. I loved it, I love the series and I love the author, if you're ever looking for a thriller in the YA category of books, I would strong recommend this series. There were times when I laughed and times when I had a few tears in my eyes, but most of all it kept me alert and in suspense, as I got closer to the ending the more worried I was that it would be one of those abrupt endings that you seem to get when a series is over, but this wasn't it, as I mentioned before, the ending was kind of more "when one door closes, another one opens". United We Spy will definitely keep you hooked, and you'll love it.
great end to a great series. great re read. the first book didn’t age well, but introducing zach really was the best thing she could’ve done. the dynamic shifted when he was added into the mix and it really was for the better. cammie became so much more interesting when she had an equal as opposed to with josh where it just always was off. it was great seeing her come into her own as the series progressed. and same for bex, liz, and macey. and, of course, the cammie/zach dynamic is still top tier and this book was full of great moments.
i think the only downside here was that the townsend/zach thing wasn’t explored enough and lol like preston’s arc didn’t really amount to anything? i can’t be too mad because this is about the girls and they got satisfying endings but like lol, way to leave us hanging with that?

I am expecting something more. Something much crazier and more dangerous and, you know, more romantic. Yet I'm still glad to say that this is a great conclusion to the series. And damn, Liz almost made me cry...

I ACTUALLY WENT HOME AND HAD A HUGE CRYING SESSION FOR THIS BOOK (SINCE I COULDNT DO IT DURING 4TH PERIOD). ALLY CARTER IS AMAZING. CAMMIE WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART, ZACH WILL ALWAYS L;KAJSLFK I JSUT THEY'RE AL SO BADAASSS LIKE LITERALLY EVERYONE. THE TEACHERS, BEX, MACEY, CAMMIE, ZACH, JOE, TOWNSHEND (wait is that how you spell it i dont think so b/c that's townshend acts OH WAIT) I MEANT AGENT TOWNSEND LOL, AUNT ABBY, LA;KDLFKJSLDFJLKAJSLDFK;A
THE KING PART WAS THE BEST I THOUGHT I TWAS JUST. IDK MAN.

I REALLY LIKED THE ENding though. I was actually content and happy about how the book/series ended. It seemed like everything had to lead up to there, and it was kind of comforting. IT'S LIKE I WENT TO GALLAGHER ACADEMY AND I FEEL CONTENT B/C THEY'RE GRADUATED AND IT'S LIKE I GRADUATED B/C LIVING VICARIOUSLY THROUGH BOOKS. but seriously I felt almost the same as how Cammie felt about the school. It's crazy how just by reading, I actually felt like I was a part of the story. so obviously it was like a dam in my room after school.
