This series has serious depth! There are so many characters, events, places and magic coming together in the final books here. This book was extremely well written and I really enjoyed it. The fae sleep piece was really interesting and added a lot to the story for me. I always love seeing the over kingdoms come back into the story and to see how so much is woven together is really interesting. Calista is one of my favorite characters so I’m anxious to see how we close out these characters and story lines in the last book.

I really enjoyed this series up until this book, and I think it comes down to two things. First being, I don't really care for Prophecies or Foretellings and it felt like between Calista and Erika, there was one practically every page. I know that this is part of the magic system, that there is a fate king and everything but it doesn't add anything to the story for me.
The second thing that grated on my nerves was the lovey crap that Ari and Saga would spout about each other. This is the first couple in the series that I didn't really get a fully developed relationship before we dove in. It felt like you were just told that they cared about each other, and the way that you were told that they care for each other got old and repetitive.

This had me on the edge of my seat the last half of the book. I adore the found family in this whole seriews and spin off series (ever king/queen). While the 7th book I struggled with the love story being believable the over-arching plot is just so good and really keeps you locked in.
This book was perfect for the series! Sometimes I find books to be just “fillers” in a series but this book was everything and I made me feel it too! So many favorite lines in here but the sarcastic ones are always my favorite.
