The second book to complete Ari + Sagaโs POV ๐ซถ๐ป UGH their story just really hits me in all the feels! They are โseparatedโ in the first half of the book because Ari is in a Fae sleep - this is a GENIUS way that LJ gives the reader (and the characters!) insight into the past that ultimately shaped the world! The angst and longing is just absolute perfection with Saga and Ari wanting nothing more than to be together again ๐ค๐ป We do get some dream meets and they are scrumptious!
This book gives tons and tons of answers to questions that have risen throughout the series! Connects SO MANY DOTS and we really finally understand why The Broken Kingdoms are as they are and what set in motion this entire tale! Itโs so amazing to see the whole gang working together again - I just love when all of the kingdoms are together!
The tale isnโt quite finished! One book to go! The setup for Book 9 is perfect - this epilogue might be one of my favorites! On to my girl, Calista ๐น

Another great addition to the series. I was looking forward to seeing how the prophesies were going to work out since they are always twisted, but I laughed a little when Valen and Kase and crew went running full speed ahead when Calista's note was pretty clear they were to wait.
I did guess some of the "twists" as things were revealed, but it didn't spoil anything. I am sure it was part of the book that readers would figure it out and want to shake the book waiting for the characters to make the connections haha
It was also really cool seeing the different strings that have been woven through the series coming together and seeing their origin. The characters were all much more connected than they believed.

This was definitely my favorite book in the series by far. I love Saga and Ari the most, which I truly wasnโt expecting.
The 2nd to last book in the series! More is revealed about Saga and Ari's past and future as the fight the battle lord in order to save their lands. Calista is once again involved in helping place the rightful queen on the throne and we learn more about her as well!
