Insanely clever plotting that takes details from early books and gives them meaning by book 8 — I love it. I love that things are falling into place and there is found family in every corner of these kingdoms. I'm inspired, fascinated, surprised, raging, and screaming at the top of my lungs (in my mind, at least) about this series. Stepping right into the final book now.Also I think it's hilarious that Davorin turned into a slimy eel like the slimy wretched man he is.

While I found the Ari/Saga relationship escalated quickly, I love them together and enjoyed seeing so much of the past and history of the broken kingdoms unfold. Definitely good hype for the final installment.

I literally cannot wait to see what happens in the final book. This one was great but a little predictable. There were some twists at the end that I saw coming but all in all it was still great! I’m just too excited to see what happens next to even process what happened in this book.
