Very ok.

Sadly retreads a lot of the same ground Terry Pratchett covered twenty or thirty years ago, and frequently labours a joke.

Hilariously brilliant with the perfect dose of cliché breaking. I'll admit it does sag a bit in the middle, but the absurd satirical characters and humor make up for it completely. 10/10 would recommend to any fantasy reader.

Fun, clever, entertaining. The adventure and creatures of The Hobbit with the wit and humor of The Princess Bride. I look forward to more books in these Chronicles.

Ever wondered why elves love poetry? How about how to be polite to an ogre so he doesn't eat you? This book is extremely entertaining and full of wonderful facts to help you navigate and survive a fantastical world. An interesting group goes on a quest with time ticking away. They face many of the species we all know and love from the fantasy genre. I was cracking up throughout this well paced and hilarious read. Well done, Mr. Bunn! I will definitely be recommending this book to my friends and book clubs! For this review and others visit http://wonbooksblog.blogspot.com
