ADAM LA NENA YA NO TE AMA S-U-P-E-R-A-L-O

Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron Aaron TE AMO

Bruh. Fav one so far <3

This is the last book on the Shatter Me series. I already reviewed the first and second book of this series. If you want to read it, just check review tab. From all three books, I can say that this one is by far my personal favorite and the one that turned me into an emotional wreck the most (although the second book also did a good job on that department). This book literally made me cry, laugh, and pretty much shut myself out from the civilization for the length of time I needed to read this book. I brought this book to the mall with me and while my friend was busy shopping groceries, I devoured this book like a maniac. Pretty sure the store's CCTV still has recollections of me shrieking at the book like an idiot.

Juliette has grown more mature and stronger in this book. While we have weepy and sad Juliette in the first book, we'll have the developed version of her in this book that I can't help but love her. She actually knows, really knows what she's capable of and decides not to hide it anymore. She's super confident of her own powers and is also determined once she has a goal. Her goal is to take down the Supreme Commander and replace him as the ruler of The Reestablishment (or so I thought, all I knew was that she wanted to bring him down, literally). She realizes that this won't be an easy task, so she seeks help from the person that knows the enemy best, his son, which was her previous enemy, but has turned into her love interest in this book.

Warner turned out to be such a babe. Okay, maybe I already mentioned this in the Unravel Me review I made earlier, but just to make it really really clear, I'm gonna say it once more. He is the definition of sexy, handsome, adorable, lovable, and sweet all together. He makes it clear that he loves Juliette since the beginning and I couldn't help but ship them together. I fangirled, hard, over him for at least weeks after I finished this book. What I love the most about him is his passion over Juliette and the fact he, um, is sexy as hell. Wow, that comes out wrong. I didn't mean him to be like Christian Grey or anything. He is just really caring and sweet towards Juliette that I can't help re-reading their Warnette moments so many times. But, that's not all. It turns out that he also has a superpower, and the fact that he can control it so easily without training is what makes me more drawn into him.

Kenji becomes an even better best friend. He's not only funny and adorablelike that's not enough for me to love him so muchhe's also an amazing best friend. He gives THE BEST love advices to Juliette and he supports her no matter her flaws and stubbornness. Honestly, their "serious" conversation is probably my most favorite moment besides the Warnette moments because you can see how they really care for each other and have each other's back. Maybe it's hidden behind his jocular antics, but you can just see that he really cares for Juliette, as a best friend.

The writing yet makes me fall in love all over again with all the words. We still have the oh-so-beautiful prose and short sentences in this book. You can see how much Mafi has given onto this book and I can't help but think how she's able to conjure those beautiful words out of literally nothing.

My only gripe is the ending. Tahereh Mafi leaves an open ending on this one. While it actually gives us plenty room for our imaginations, I think it's a bit rushed as we have 3 whole books for Juliette to prepare a war against the Supreme Commander. But, when the time actually comes for her to bring him down, it was too sudden and meh that I wasn't fully satisfied with it. I actually was expecting something grander since Juliette and the gang have this amazing and super cool powers that will actually make the war really exciting and impressive. But, unfortunately, that didn't happen as we don't get a full view of the war because of the first point of view. With a really sad heart, I have to take off half a star because I don't really feel like giving this book 4 stars when I'm actually madly in love with it, but I just can't give it 5 stars because of the unsatisfying ending.

All in all, Ignite Me is a really epic and captivating conclusion from Tahereh Mafi that will literally make you blown away, filled with just the perfect amount of swoon.

My rating:  4 .5 of 5 stars

Ignite Me is the conclusion to the Shatter Me series by taherehmafi.

Juliette is saved by Warner. Everything she thought about him has been wrong and now asks for his help to fight the Reestablishment. She is now ready to fight along with the survivors from Omega Point. Will they succeed in hope of changing the system?

I love how everything ended. This will definitely be on my top 2014 books.
