Contains spoilers! Ignite Me is the last book I’ve currently read in the Shatter Me series, and I think it’s actually my favourite so far. It was packed with drama and battles, which kept me hooked throughout.
Juliette finally starts telling the truth and actually talking to people, which felt like such a turning point. She’s got her independence back, her confidence, and she’s really stepping into her role as a leader. I loved seeing her work alongside Warner to try to make everything come together—though, of course, Adam isn’t happy about that. Honestly, Adam just comes across as a walking red flag at this point. The only redeeming thing is his little brother, James, which keeps Juliette somewhat tied to him.
Without spoiling too much, Juliette really grows into her powers. It’s not just about her lethal touch anymore—she learns to harness energy itself, which opens up so many possibilities. The tension kept me on edge, and at one point I was genuinely worried Kenji might die (thankfully he didn’t!).
By the end of the book, it feels like they’ve defeated the Reestablishment, though I can’t help but wonder if it’s just a temporary victory. And that cliffhanger with the mysterious blonde boy at the end—another brother, perhaps? It definitely leaves plenty to look forward to in the next instalment.
Overall, Ignite Me was dramatic, action-packed, and full of character growth. It cemented Juliette’s transformation into a strong, capable leader, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here.

Perhaps I'm blinded by nostalgia...but growing up this was my favourite book series in the world.
I'll always recommend "Shatter me" to anyone young who is just getting into reading - very easy to follow, with a diverse range of characters. Love.

The best of the Shatter Me trilogy. Juliette is finally a character I am interested in reading about. Though, admittedly, this series is mostly trash.
