4.5 // Though much of this felt like a clear self insert at times, it is undeniable that Oscar Wilde is a literary genius. I would argue that this, especially given that it is his only novel, is his magnum opus and I would urge all to read it once in their lives.

I read this book for school!!

And I dislike the characters- they are misogynistic- but the concept is gorgeous. And I feel if I didn’t just read to get the assignment done I would’ve actually enjoyed reading it more..
