This book was so cute. I liked it maybe just a little more than the first. Zaf and Dani are adorable! They have so much chemistry and are so cute together. They’re also so funny and witty. I appreciate that the third act breakup wasn’t a true breakup and was resolved pretty quickly and efficiently. The way these two grew individually and together was so beautiful. I loved it!

It was reflective and caused some great conversation between my partner and I as we discussed having similar stances on love as Dani and Zafir. Overall I liked her character development even though I kept shouting for both of them to get a grip the whole time. I enjoyed this, it was a funny, predictable and quick read I didn't want to put down once I got into it. Really good read.

I have loved this series by Talia Hibbert! Dani and Zaf were the perfect mismatched couple with Zaf loving too easily and Dani’s heart being walled up and untouchable. And the ending of this one had me swooning!

9/10. I liked the first book better but I still really enjoyed this book. The absolute yearning (on both sides!) was very delicious. I pictured Zaf to look like the guy who plays Boorman on the Disney+ version of Willow which was wonderful considering I was very attracted to him and would be attracted to Zaf if he was a real person. In the previous book, I related a lot to Chloe on many levels but for this book, I related the most to Zafir because I am also a romantic who only wants sex with a romantic partner and have anxiety about a lot of things. I loved Dani's bluntness and her discovery of how she is worth allowing someone else to love her. Overall, I highly recommend. (less)

I am really really enjoying the brown sisters! I do find that Talia Hibbert writes smut in a way I don’t particularly enjoy, but I love her characters so much. She does such a fantastic job of writing a diverse cast and integrating mental health representation and truly unique personalities!
