A very strange graphic history and novel about the connection between Sunderland, Lewis Carroll and the historical Alice. Set in a theater, it uses a one man play along with a one man audience as a framing device. A wide range of area history and fantastic tales is covered, the art work varies between simple black and white line drawings and a lush photorealism. A fun read once sort of thing, it does have a bibliography so inquisitive readers can delve further into this subject.
