Any readers who read only the first three chapters and the last two chapters will not be surprised by the “reveal” at the end.
I spent most of the book PISSED at every medical practitioner, parent, therapist, teacher, or family member who spent any time with Cassandra and didn’t draw the glaringly obvious conclusion.

The book felt overlong to me, though the protagonist clearly needed LOTS of time to process her abilities and her situation. The audio narration was very well done.

This book will start with me for a long while. Really disliked Will, but I loved all the characters. I was prepared to hate Artemis, but because Cassandra could love her, so did I. While I often dislike the Groundhog Day trope, it worked really well in this case because Cassandra was so well written.

It's very rare I go into a book knowing absolutely nothing about it but that was the case here and it worked out brilliantly. I had such a good time with this. The protagonist Cassandra discovers she can time travel at will and that's the kind of time travel device I find really interesting. She was a fascinating character to put into that situation because she's neurodivergent so she uses her powers to get out of awkward social situations or to redo conversations she struggled with the first time round. I didn't completely love the ending but I'm still so glad I read this and it's made me want to read more time travel books.
