Вообще лично для меня оценка книги где-то 1 или 2.
Но этот тип литературы и не предназначен для меня.
Он о тех, непонятных для нас, мужчин, процессах, что происходят в мозгу второй рассы, населяющих Землю разумных существ - женщинах.
Естественно, я понятия не имею насколько это правдоподобно или типично.
Но, судя по внешнему поведению женщин, это вполне объясняет как минимум часть из них.

Мне было интересно попробовать отключить у себя мужскую часть мозга и попытаться окунуться во все эти ощущение и переживания. Очень перпендикулярные тому, на что реагируют мужчины.

Автора я бы не назвал гениальным, и в книге есть ряд чисто технических огрехов, показывающих некий конвейер по производству текстов.
Но на мой неискушенный взгляд это вполне качественный представитель такого рода литературы.

Этот психологический опыт был для меня интересен. Я дочитал книгу до конца и мне не было скучно. Хотя если посмотреть на книгу мужскими глазами, возможно, я бросил бы ее даже не дочитав вступительную главу.
И в общем желания читать что-то еще такого рода нет - я лишний раз убедился что мозги у мужчин и женщин работают совершенно по-разному. И не видно смысла пытаться сломать свои мозги чтобы "понять" другой лагерь - это просто разные типы мышления. Пока ты в парадигме одного, для тебя нет смысла в другом. Ты можешь переключиться, хотя непонятна цель этого упражнения. А если вдруг тебе кажется, что ты понимаешь оба типа мышления, то, думаю, тебе надо срочно к психиатру.

Harris combines the gentleness and kindness of Vianne’s temperament with a fair amount of suspense. As we learn more about Zozie’s past, we find out just how dangerous and devoid of conscience she is.
As usual the writing is beautiful, sprinkled with the scents and flavors of the chocolatierie and a dash of magic.

Neste segundo volume de uma trilogia de Chocolat, Vianne Rocher está mais cautelosa e temerosa, enquanto que a filha Anouk começa a descobrir-se a si como adolescente e o seu potencial no mundo da magia, que a mãe tanto tenta esconder. Rosette, pela sua idade tenra e não só, também é uma ameaça constante à tentativa de Vianne se manter incógnita na nova vida que leva em Paris.

Zozie é a personagem surpresa que dá andamento à história, e ler através da perspectiva desta vilã foi interessante, pois é uma mulher obscura com objectivos mal-intencionados. Será ela quem obrigará a família de Chocolat a dar uso à magia que tanto tentam esquecer.

A chegada de Roux e as descrições deliciosas de fazer crescer água na boca e inspirar o ar com afinco são pontos positivos e ligantes ao primeiro volume da trilogia Sapatos de Rebuçado.

Posso concluir dizendo que, várias foram as vezes que recorri ao meu armário em busca de uma tablete de chocolate.

I read no.1, then 3 and now I've read no.2. but the order doesn't matter with books like this. In fact, it gave me some comfort knowing what was going to come next, as this story, though beautifully told, is intended, I believe to be quite tense and stressful in parts.
A magical story, in more ways than one, that hooked me and had me craving for chocolate more than usual.

Eh... I liked the story and found it interesting (especially the chocolate shop part), but I though that the book was a bit too long-winded overall and then ended abruptly with an ending that wrapped up way too easily in a few pages.

Dark and seductive. Not as tantalising a read as Chocolat but still gripping and immensely soulful.
