Nothing that revolutionary but maybe interesting if you know nothing about remote work.

I run an established small but growing remote business. Given how helpful Getting Real and Rework were for small, growing businesses, I assumed Remote would be full of great actionable strategies for being an effective remote team.
While there were 1 or 2 minor tidbits of useful information, the vast majority of the book is aimed at why non-remote companies should become remote, and how employees can convince their bosses to become remote.
There is very little useful information for someone who is already convinced a remote company is the way to go, and is looking for strategies for managing a remote company effectively.

Great if you need to convince someone to let you work remotely, but not much new if you already work remotely.

Actual content helped to get many insights on working remote, but there were sections which felt a little bit too advertorial. Narration on audio book version sounded jaded.

Could he a useful book if you are looking for arguments pro remote work, but a bit less useful of your re already able to work remotely for a while (and now full time remote given the pandemic).
Overall, there were still some useful tips regarding communication, staying active, etc.

The content wasn’t bad but I did find it a bit outdated (to be fair it was written in 2013 and the tech world has changed a lot since then). The majority focuses on convincing your company to let people work from home. Sure... but then what?
