Multiple punctuation and other mistakes dropped the rating on this story for me.
Examples: Queen's or Queens' should have replaced Queens on page 3; king's should replace kings in multiple places; wives not wife's on page 17; and the note in brackets on page 23: [clash, not sure if this is the right word] should have been removed prior to publishing, but yes, clash is a good word.
Despite the editing mistakes, I did enjoy the story and would read more were it to become available.
