So here's the problem... This is an excellent idea. And the beginning was super solid. But it bit off more than it could chew. A major part of the main characters arc's are handled before the book starts and then referred to quickly in the end. I still have sooooo many questions and I believe I've found a few plot holes. I really struggle with the main characters motivations for his actions toward the end. 5 stars to the beginning, 2 stars to the ending.. 3 is what I'm going with.

I really enjoyed most this book but the ending was soooo weak after such a good build up. Lots of plot holes and lots of questions walking away from this one….but bonus points because I couldn’t have predicted that ending!
