It was cute. I still don't think anything will top her first book [b:If You Give a Mouse a Cookie|767680|If You Give a Mouse a Cookie|Laura Joffe Numeroff|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1276046901s/767680.jpg|3132746].

While this is not my favorite of the "If you give a" series, this is a very cute addition that plays on that lovely circular circular play that was so charming in the previous books like "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" and "If You Give a Moose a Muffin".

Such cuteness. After the original If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, I think this is my fave in the series.

This is a cute addition to the "If You Give a" series, but it isn't my favorite. It earned giggles and grins from my nephew (5) though. Who wouldn't like that? The biggest problem I had with the book is that, while I understand how it was used to complete her cycle, you don't drink apple juice with donuts!

It is highly possible that the word Numeroff is Latin for total nutbag.
But anyway here we are again.
A circular logic book.
An animal.
Pastry goods.
What happens when you give
Pastry goods to
an animal
You get a circular logic book
But anyway here we are again
It is highly possible that the word Numeroff is Latin for total nutbag.

Quite an all right book that my nephew thought was funny. I think If You Give a Mouse a Cookie is better.

I love this book! I mean, who doesn’t love donuts? At its core, I see this book as a metaphor for ADD. You go about scurrying from thing to thing, only to realize in the end all you really wanted were donuts and apple juice.

It is what it is. I think it lacks the charm of the original, but young kids love the chain reaction storytelling.
