This is the first Flash comic that I have ever read, I know some about the flash because of TV and movies though. This comic felt a lot like a Batman comic which I read all the time. The art in this was very good, the story was amazing, and I loved the variety of characters in this as well as the different takes that there were for them. I would definitely read more Flash comics in the future, which is what the Year of Comics is supposed to be for!

Geoff Johns storytelling and Andy Kubert art style made this comic very enjoyable. I highly recommend to anyone that is a fan of The Flash.

I love pretty much any story involving time travel and the consequences that come with it. This story really shows Barry's character and I think Geoff Johns really pulled it off. This was a wonderfully fun read and a fantastic way to enter into the New 52. Also, the bit at the end with Bruce was great.

I cried. I watched the movie first and cried, then I read the comic and cried again. Beautiful writing with little additions of thought that bring even more emotion to the tale/

For such a hyped DC event, this was very cliched with time travel/ actions have consequences/ unite to save the day tropes.
It wasn't as cohesive as the DC animated movie Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. A lot of the backstory from the movie was missing, and is probably included in the Batman, Wonder Woman/ Aquaman issues of this series (which I did not read).
Ironic that the best aspect of a Flash comic was AU Batman; I look forward to reading his Flashpoint miniseries.
Several questions were unanswered:
Spoiler
1) Where is Martha Wayne?
2) Who was in the 3rd Kryptonian pod?
3) Why does Superman return to help? And how can he, at his weakest beat up Aquaman, at his best?
4) Why all the metas refuse to join without Batman, but he has no plan except ATTACK?
5) Why Enchantress is working for/with Wonder Woman?
6) Why is the Green Lantern before Hal still alive?
7) Why does Reverse Flash info-dump, instead of leaving Barry clueless?
8) What happened to Lois Lane?
10) Why was the timeline split into 3? And who was the character informing Flash?

I would recommend this only to hardcore DC fans; the rest should watch the movie instead.

Having watched the movie a couple of times before actually reading the comic, I think I enjoyed the latter a lot more. The big moments of the comic personally hit a lot harder than they did in the movie.

More of a 2.5 for me but not quite a 3.
