Haven’t giggled and kicked my feet like that in a while! Broke my reading slump and warmed my heart.

Took me way too long to finish this. Not because it wasn’t good. It is a cute romance story.  The author has limb difference herself so she was really able to put a personal take on the characters feelings of inadequacy and the fears they may have. It was nice to read about that perspective. I also like a strong FMC. Win was independent and not afraid to ask for what she wanted or needed.

I am not usually a fan of the pregnancy trope, but I liked this. I felt that it was well done and the actions made sense for the characters. I do feel like the male main character was too perfect. He always responded the right way, was perfectly romantic, but it happens in romance. Also, I loved the author's note at the beginning.

When the book started with one of my least favorite tropes, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to keep reading but I’m glad I did.

The care of bringing light to important topics and what a healthy relationship can look like was beautifully done. To talk about mental health, cancer, pregnancy, disability representation, death, and so much more with grace was encouraging to read.

Win and Bo were complex characters with struggles of their own outside of the main plot which only developed their characters further.
