While I cared about the story, which I knew beforehand from watching the movie years ago, I can't help thinking that I would have enjoyed this graphic novel much more if the drawings had been different (I won't say better because I imagine that this art style appeals to someone, but I did despise the art style very much). I couldn't connect to the characters, and a large part of that is that they were all drawn so similarly that I couldn't tell them apart. That sums up my experience with Alan Moore's comics, to be honest.
