This will haunt me for a good long while. Much better than the movie.
A bit dated, but still a fantastic piece of work.
Maybe you had be there, of a certain age, and of a certain state of mind, to get into this one. (Preferably pre-2006 when that movie came out, amiright?) I couldn't. I found the commic to be tedious, and the anarchist politics to be unfounded and unmotivated. Yes, parts of the plot were interesting, and some of the characters were really well done, but overall, I ended up skimming the last half (the Norsefire political maneuvering, yawn).
Like this ending MUCH better than the artsy-fartsy movie one. As much as I enjoyed the movie, I think I actually like this better. (Thanks to Phil at Heroes Aren't Hard to Find for recommending this one. Love those guys!)
