If it hadn't been short, I probably would have abandoned the book honestly. There are lots of editing mistakes and weird choices, such as the separation of every paragraph. Asheville is not a small city. It's not like Atlanta or Charlotte, but it's a decent size, even downtown. Usually, when I read werewolf books with Alphas, the alpha is at least sure of himself, and this entire story was sadly lacking for me. Barely any romantic vibes throughout the book as a whole as well.
