This is one of those series where I always eat up the books. They're not great literature but man are they fun. Which is why it was so disappointing for this to be the ending to the series. It really felt like the author was just over it and the world she had built. Which I get, this is a 8 book series and I'm sure she wants to move on creatively. But it was so lackluster and fell so flat for a MMC that was actually one of the more interesting ones. I'm not sure why you'd set up a character as an ultimate possessive protector in previous books and make the main female character completely against any of that behavior. Especially in a motorcycle club romance series where being a possessive protector is kind of the name of the game. Plus while these books all flirted with insta love, this one was so quick and didn't feel based in any kind of reality. I was also sad to see that so many side characters that could have been spun off into their own books have their stories tied up in sentences. For a book I was excited for, I was so let down in the end.
