This book took a turns I did not expect 😳
The side relationships (like The Three Kings boys and others) felt rushed, and a little forced at times. I feel that the other relationships in this book could have been a good chance for novellas instead of shoving them all into this book.
The plot of the book overall made the series wrap up nicely, and set up the next series by Emma- Huckleberry Hill

I can hardy express all my mixed feelings about the end of this series. I've read them all, since book one and I've been binging them one by one since they were released and this last one was really expected and desired and my expectations about it and about Savage's story were sky high.
It was a good story and I've read it compulsivly since it got out but it wasn't my favorite one. I've expected more anguish in Savages's chatacter. He went from 0-80 in the "never sleeping with a woman more than once" and "avoiding relationships at all costs" to "I'm yours and I want a family now". It was probably what icked me most. But hey.. it was because of what I've had envisioned in my mind an nothing to do with the story. I guess I've had too many years to develop this crush on this character and made up my own story in my head, and well... Expectations.. 🤷♀️
But back to the story.. Savage is an MC member to the Tarnished Angels and is a morally grey man, with a shady and rocky past and has one of the sweetest hearts possible. He is keeping secrets and one of them is that he is fighting in an illegal fight ring and that's where he meets Evie.
Evie is a young girl that clearly is running away from something. She is young but not naive and is strong and secure about herself.
One night he protects her from a abusive costumer and she loses her job, so he feels responsible to help her. From then on he starts to feel not only responsible for her but also addicted to her and spends all his time with her and falls head over heals with Evie. He claims her as his own and claims her babies as well.
They have an honeymoon fase, but then some secrets come to life. Both his and hers and those secrest endanger their lives and their future in their families and in his club.
We have the opportunity to see more of the three kings family and how they welcome and embrace Evie into their group, and see them all have some HEA also. Mixed with the MC own family it is a large group that loves and protects each other and I actually liked the "endings" that the characters had. They deserved some happiness and love after all those moments of loss.
This was one of my all time favorite series, so it really is a bittersweet feeling to let them go.
