This was definitely a set up book for Kennedy to help us to get to know Auren’s character. You’ve gotta know the trauma to understand the workings of her mind. I’d be willing to continue the series just to figure out what comes of Auren but I think I’d have to skip a lot of parts in upcoming books.

I WANT JUSTICE FOR SAIL! The only genuinely sweet guy that didn’t seem like a pig at any point and he gets unalived!! 😭😭😭

I was not a fan of the (in my opinion) excessive use of profanity to describe character’s body parts. It just felt too nasty for me and I felt icky at times from situations.
