Well that was, something. I wasn’t expecting that first chapter, or a very detailed rape scene. Thankfully, I’m not triggered by it & go into books fully blind. Definitely check the TW for this book before starting. The ending did feel a little abrupt. I liked it enough to keep reading, but overall I didn’t love it.
