I was really invested at the start, and i loved reading about the world and the magic system. It got kinda repetetive for me in the middle, and i felt like mare and maven were so stupid with thinking they could get away with their plan, but alas it made sense why in the end. Rlly love Cal, and i think I’ll love Shade in the next book. 4,5 stars for me⭐️
