I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I essentially finished it in one sitting and will think about it for a very long time.

This was an interesting read about attending an elite boarding school in New England, expediting racism and micro aggressions, and then turning around to work to recruit students like her. The pacing was slow at times and some details were kind of boring (like James explains, this wasn’t Gossip Girl), but this was still an overall interesting read.

i related to some parts of this, which is telling considering the fact that she went there almost TWO decades ago.
