This is my first murakami book, I got to say I’m excited to read the others. Though I will say this story creeped me out and it was sad. Love the writing style though.

Surprisingly dark for a children's book and I loved it. My introduction to Murakami's work, thus book had ignited an interest in magical realism within me; I look forward to reading his other works.
