Crush was a dark whirlwind that had me in awe every time I finished a poem. There wasn't a single piece of this collection that I did not find utterly intriguing. His writing is the sort that will remain in the back of my mind forever, consuming my thoughts for days after I've put down the book. I have read Crush dozens of times and intend to read it a thousand times more.

I cannot explain how much these poems mean to me. There are multiple times whilst reading this where I have to put the book down to cry or take a breather. I’m going to get a tattoo relating to these poems at some point that’s how much I love them. If there’s one poetry book I’m going to carry around for the rest of my life, it’s this one.
