No bc, respectfully, wtf.

I need more immediately. This book was not enough and too much all at once.

For me, to “too much” was the romance (sounds dumb seeing as this is a romantasy). But the gush just got a bit much, I felt like I read the same Diankiel convos about 16 times. I’ll just be so fr, I got a tad bit bored of dianna and samkiel’s “I love you” “no I love YOU” “pls appease me” type talks but I still liked to see Dianna grow into her warmth and emotions for certain people. Every single character had SUCHHHHH good parts in this book, I fucking lapped it up.

I’m an avid skipper of the smut (after one scene of it I’m just not interested), it just isnt for me most of the time, but there wasn’t TOO much of it in this that I got annoyed.

I have so many questions, much a confusion, and such a deep connection w this series. I pray the rest that follow will match books 1-3 so far.

Gods & Monsters Book 3

Book 3 starts off where TTOBG left us empty shells of ourselves...

I will have to leave my review as vague as possible so there are no hints to books one and two.

Let's just say we see growth, we see pain, we see a genuine love and connection that only Amber can write for us.

We see betrayal, obstacles, secret plans. Who and what and when? Well I'll leave that up to you to find out when you read it.

What I can say is Amber writes beautifully. She writes flawed characters with dreams, choices, and desires of their own. They also come with trauma, pain, and the choices they make because of that that shape who they are.

She's brilliant. I'm actually terrified of the pain sandwich we are about to be served in the 4th book. But if I'm a masochist for anyone it's definitely for Amber V. Nicole

Very disappointed to find this was not the end of this series. I don’t think I’ll be able to bring myself to read the next one. In three books I can’t bring myself to care about any of these characters.
