What. The. Actual. Chocolate Chip and Peppermint Brownie.
One of the main reasons I love these books was because Tahereh Mafi was spot on to write them in first person. It's astounding to read a story like this from the perspective of the protagonist, especially when she goes through so many things and emotions. Juliette Ferrars is a very interesting character, even if sometimes she goes a little bit past the line of what's considered being a nice person.
I liked the fact that there was way less Adam Kent in this book, because most of the time I can't stand him. Aaron on the other side... dang yes.
Another thing I'd say is worth mentioning is the complex world the story is set in. [That sounded way to serious]. Anyway, I think it goes mostly over-looked because of the fact that everyone's worried with Juliette's stuff. The way Tahereh tells this destructed world really made me feel something.
This next thing is so off the previous topic, but heh. Juliette and Aaron's kissing scene. OMG. "Please don't shoot me for this". That quote. Yes.
4.3/5.
