This book is uneventful but it's so interesting to read the thoughts of each character and how they all complement eachother and change over time. Especially because this is a classic, their minds are unlike our modern ones

If this book had been written in the 2020s instead of the 1920s I KNOW it would have been gay. You’re telling me these women are escaping their boring husbands and miserable marriages to rent a medieval castle in northern Italy and they’re NOT sleeping together? Unrealistic
