honestly i had to stop reading this book half way through because of how disappointing and boring it was :// it could have been so much more but it was like the bare minimum to get its story across to the reader.

the only one i truly connected with was alistair, the way he acted and the way he would without a doubt choose hendry over all of the others just made sense.
i hated briony in the beginning but she developed very positively.
as for gavin, i liked him in the beginning but grew more detached from him as the story went on.
and isobel, ugh it infuriated me how she didn't believe briony's theory... LIKE... YOU HAD NOTHING TO LOSE??????

i don't know if i will pick up the sequel
