4.5 Really cool and entertaining story! The coloring in this is seriously so good and was for sure my favorite aspect. Characters were all so different and unique. They added a lot to the story and I'm looking forward to learning more about their stories. Definitely excited to pick up volume two and see where the story goes!!

Ένα graphic novel που δεν είναι για όλους. Μια πολύ βίαιη σεναριακή ιδέα, δοσμένη με έναν εξαιρετικό τρόπο, μπόλικη δράση και με πολύ καλά γραμμένους χαρακτήρες, με τους οποίους μπορείς να δεθείς, και οι οποίοι εξελίσσονται ομαλά και ρεαλιστικά, στο πλαίσιο της ιστορίας. Η ατμόσφαιρα που έχουν δημιουργήσει οι Remender και Craig είναι απίστευτη και με ρούφιξε στον κόσμο της καθώς την διάβαζα μονοκοπανιά, ενώ μου κράτησε το ενδιαφέρον χωρίς να κάνει ίχνος κοιλιάς στη δράση της.

Οπτικά επίσης δεν είναι για όλους. Όσοι έχουν συνηθίσει στα φαντασμαγορικά σχέδια της Marvel και της DC, θα απωθηθούν απ' το οπτικό αποτέλεσμα της συγκεκριμένης ιστορίας. Προσωπικά, παρότι στερείται κάποιου βαθμού λεπτομέρειας στις μορφές των χαρακτήρων και των τοποθεσιών, το βρήκα πολύ ικανοποιητικό και κάποιες σκηνές απεικονίζονται υπέροχα.

This made me sad, because for me it was kind of a let down.

I was really excited by the opening issue, it was so fast and exciting!!! But it never really picked up in the same way again. And the story went in a very strange direction that seems a little jumbled?
And then the climax was sort of anti-climatic...

But I do understand why people liked it. It was very dark and gritty, different than a lot of things I've read. However, I just didn't particular enjoy it and I really didn't ever get a good feel for the characters. They all felt a little flat by the end.

Maybe I'll pick up volume 2...
