I was hooked, I really wanted to know what happened.
I felt so sad that Tallullah wasn’t speaking to her mom about how horrible Zach was, I really wished she did. And I was so glad that Tallullah was saved in the end. I know they’re fictional but I was really into it.

I’ll be reading more of Jewell’s books in the future.

I am still slightly in shock by the ending of this book. It was not what I was expecting, but so intriguing at the same time. I almost want to reread it to see if I could find other clues throughout. A fascinating thriller, my only complaint is that the beginning portion was a little slow.

A well paced book that kept me engaged. The storyline was believable for the first 3/4 of the book, then it became a bit far fetched for me

SYNOPSIS:
  • Tallulah & Zach are young parents, and they live with Tallulah’s mom & their newborn son. Tallulah is nineteen years old.
  • They go out on a date together, and they disappear. What happened?

MY THOUGHTS
  • I love anything by Lisa Jewell.
  • Although this one isn’t my favorite of hers, I still give it four stars.
  • Jewell is the master at character development.
  • Multiple POVs.
  • Easy to read.

TL;DR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️another good one by Lisa Jewell.

With each twist and turn this story took, I thought I had it all figured out and, honestly, I almost did. The best chapter in the whole book is the epilogue which answered questions I didn't even realize that I had.

Mostly predictable but still a well woven mystery that keeps you on your toes and keeps you reading. No wonder so many readers swear by Lisa's mysteries!

So good! I couldn’t put this one down. I relayed so much to Tallulah and loved that character right from the start. I just had to finish to know what happened. Loved the twists and turns and great ending!
