She discovers clues to the disappearance only to realize they mirror what she wrote in her debut novel. Kim, Tallulah's mother has lost all hope and is now raising her grandson, Noah. She has never truly prepared herself for the answers - is her daughter dead or could she still be alive?
This book was very engaging and the suspense continues to grow as you discover more details. I expect nothing less from Jewell and this was absolutely perfect. The characters were lovable in some twisted sort of way. The chapters are short and the multiple POV makes it more suspenseful. What is even better is the chemistry between the characters emanate from the book, making each POV equally interesting and engaging.

I was hooked, I really wanted to know what happened.

I felt so sad that Tallullah wasn’t speaking to her mom about how horrible Zach was, I really wished she did. And I was so glad that Tallullah was saved in the end. I know they’re fictional but I was really into it.

I’ll be reading more of Jewell’s books in the future.

I am still slightly in shock by the ending of this book. It was not what I was expecting, but so intriguing at the same time. I almost want to reread it to see if I could find other clues throughout. A fascinating thriller, my only complaint is that the beginning portion was a little slow.
