This was a quick read where I wanted to get to the end. However the satire was too on the nose and all a bit of a trope of the works that inspired the book.

Oh I devoured this book! It is such a perfect combination of Bridgerton and Knives Out or Clue. There are so many twists and turns that it truly makes you wonder who the killer is! I was totally rooting for Beatrice and a certain man to get together, and it seems like it ended that way. I definitely recommend this book!

Super charming! I love a good cozy mystery, and this was just pure perfection. Think Bridgerton meets true crime—with a really good sense of humor. There were so many laugh-out-loud moments, and the whole story was just plain…fun! While a few parts dragged slightly, overall it was an enjoyable read. Can’t wait to start book two!
