Honestly this book was made for me - a perfect loving satire of Agatha Christie and Jane Austen with intrigue, hilarity, and some genuinely scary moments that were only augmented by the absurdity of the affair. Honestly, one of the most fun reads in recent memory - a delightful witty page turner

Just pure fun! The characters were lovable and hilarious, and the way Seales pokes fun at Regency era etiquette added to the humor. If you love the comfort of curling up with an Agatha Christie murder mystery, you will find comfort here as well.
I'm giving this a 4.5 and rounding up. Was it perfect? Absolutely not. Was it even close to perfect? No, but excluding whenever Grub was around, I enjoyed every page and would love if Julia Seales wrote a sequel. Or something else as long as it's just as fun.
