THIS BOOK was FUN to read. I read sporadically, but once *the murder* took place, I was HOOKED.
So many theories and twists, leaving you guessing until the big reveal.

Truly a delightful read! Picked this up on a whim during Get A Clue Readathon, and I said such a great time with the well-plotted mystery, the humorous banter and Regency satire, and of course the strong-minded determined woman sleuth we follow!

I picked this up from the library without consulting its GR reviews because I thought the premise set it up to be a perfect spooky (goofy) Halloween read. And while it was goofy and a little bit spooky, it reads like it was written by AI and the dialogue is often unbearable to get through. I could see the potential while reading this and the author's sense of humor is often pretty funny, but I unfortunately just chugged the second half of it in one night so that I never to read an out of place rhyme or an awkward Austen-ian idiom again.

I really enjoyed this one. It was lighthearted, mysterious and funny! The jokes were so silly it was hilarious.
