I thoroughly enjoyed this goofy off the wall regency mystery. Sometimes you just need a book that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is ready to make you laugh. This isn’t going to blow your mind or make you think. It’s going to make you smile.
What a weird book
Too much absurdity to actually enjoy the book. Humor is fine but this was like a dystopian village on laughing gas.

I thought this was a cute book, and I'm going to try to read the next one as an ebook. It's very clever to poke fun at the Regency standards, and this could end up a solid go-to option for an easy read. It may have felt just a tad long - but I also might just be in manic state of stress. Well. The last part is definitely true. <3 <3 <3
Graphic: Classism
Moderate: Bullying, Death, Death of parent, Murder
Minor: Confinement, Gun violence, Blood, Suicide attempt, Pregnancy, Alcohol, Sexual harassment
3.5 - This was entertaining, if a bit repetitive in its humor. The plot borrows heavily from classic literature, which was both fun and felt a bit lazy. Overall it was enjoyable and cute. I did guess the murderer, but the extent of their criminality and cruelty was a surprise.
3.5 stars. This was ridiculous fun and a good listen while multitasking
If this annoyed me less, I might be able to talk about it more.
