Silly, lighthearted mystery novel that clearly models much of itself after Pride and Prejudice. While the broad strokes are very Pride and Prejudice, it clearly strays from there to fill in the rest and make this the adult, Regency version of a Nancy Drew-esque story. I liked it enough to keep going and enjoy the occasional silly moments sprinkled throughout. It did get a bit tiresome how many times they assumed they had solved the case and then of course were wrong. But I do plan to continue on to the sequel for some more lighthearted mystery fluff.
