This was a quick read with short and to the point sections from many different perspectives.  I felt there were some clear red herrings and that no one is particularly likeable or redeemable... maybe Michael the brother is the only character I liked.  Regardless, kept me interested and wanted to finish/read

I would have given it a 4, but the ending was too abrupt for me. All the characters are very flawed and it makes for a great book, even if some of the decisions annoyed me as a reader. The last 20% were a bit slow, but I read that part in one sitting so it didn't feel too agonizing.
I will say, this book is one giant contraceptive pill! I don't know what I would do if I had a difficult and manipulative child like Avery 😅

I really enjoyed this book! I finished it within a day! It really was well written and kept me guessing throughout! The ending sentence really was perfect!

I didn’t love Not A Happy Family by her but I liked the sound of this book and I enjoyed the sample so I decided to give her another chance.

I am glad that I did as I enjoyed following the Wooler family and the family of the neighbourhood. I also enjoyed the use of the media in this case and how I was always left questioning and guessing the truth.
