Re read. Always enjoyed this book but I hated the cover not sure what. Skipped the 3rd book I didn’t want to bother with it never liked it as a kid, the problem I find with this series is the way the plot just.. changes every single book. You ask me to describe the plot of this series and my mind goes blank. I’ve been enjoying my re read even though I did skip the 3rd book, and barley read the 1st buttttt that’s alright. What I found that stood out to me was the way the author described Tam and Linh, could’ve just said they had an Asian appearance or the million other ways to describe an Asian person but no she described them as “kpop idols or like they just stepped out of an anime” I had to put my phone down. I know the author meant no harm I was just very confused.

*˚。⋆ ➵ amazing! incredible! i loved it! just like the rest of the books in this series, neverseen was really good!! while the plot has never been my favorite in this book, the relationship between the characters gets so much better. there are so many more little moments between sophie and her friends that have my heart melting. keefe deserves so much better. it pains me to see him so hurt and lost. i remember reading this book for the first time and getting to the part at the end of the book where he makes that decision. i was literally so devastated. i hope he gets the happy ending he deserves. <3 a plus though is that tam and linh are introduced in this book!! they’re so cute and should get so much more attention. also!! the plot-twists in this book were really good!! i honestly forgot a lot of them, so when they happened, i was really shocked! ok, i’m going to go read lodestar now!!

Plot wise it was slow, and while I liked the Song twins I want to get to know them a little more before I can judge them. But I’m giving all the stars to my sweet precious boy Keefe. His character development has been spot-on, the way he’s dealing with everything and spiraling out of control is so realistic, and he’s still my sweet baby who I have quite accidentally fallen in love with. So these four stars are for him. (And in case anyone asks...I’m hands-down Team Foster-Keefe.) ;)

I LOVE and hate this book so much. So many emotions, so many discoveries. This is by far my favorite of the series so far and I cannot wait to continue on to book 5.
