I would give it 4 stars because it broke my heart but since it was able to make me feel so much it deserves 5 stars.

Such an amazing series and this book.... I absolutely loved it even if I wanted to slap some of the chars for the some of their actions even if they had no choice in them. Everyone seriously needs to go read it (or the entire series if you haven't!)

A very very slow book, and long. I felt like her quest had stalled, or that this book could be much shorter if it cut out some of the summarising and endless speculation. I am reading this back to back with the previous book though, so no need for summaries.

Strike me pink this lady has verbal diarrhoea - the books are so flipping long.
This is number six, and if you had them all together you could kill them with a whack on their noggin.
Anyway the story continues on and I believe this is the penultima in the series - and that one is even longer. Aye Karumba!

This book was well worth the wait!
I was addicted to the characters from day one and the distance and drama between Elspeth and Rushton kept me hanging on to every word.
Can't wait to read the next book!

This was terrible.
Poorly edited, and it felt like pure filler.
I only persisted because I’m this far into this series.
One more to go. It had better pay off!
