This was a really fun book! I found the mystery a little bit obvious in terms of who did it, but the how and why were still interesting reveals. More importantly, I adored both Will and Lillian, and I look forward to more of their adventures.

I loved this book! Period mysteries are my favorite genre, and this is the best new series I've discovered in a while.

A great, punchy detective novel with a touching message. I wish we got to enjoy the resolution a bit more though.
